DIVISIONS

Several Divisions of hockey exist in Western Australia.

  • Peewee is our youngest junior hockey competition which caters for children aged 13 years and under.  We recommend that children under 10 years join "Learn to Skate" and "Learn to Play Hockey" programs which teach the basics of skating and ice hockey respectively.
  • Midget is our junior competition which caters for children aged 17 years and under.
  • Senior A Non-Checking is our adult league competition which caters for those players not wishing to play in a division with body checking.  This league comprises males and females.
  • Conference or Senior A Checking is another adult league competition which  permits body checking.  Only males are permitted to play in this league .
  • Super league is WA's Premier competition for the State's best adult players.  Only males are permitted to play in this league .
